GL!! ...hahaha jk buddy. Your car is clean as f*ck already Dan....I was VERY impressed when i first saw it and the condition it was in.

My #1 concern was my fenders, and instead of spending 1200 to have them painted, i'll have the fenders wetsanded out to new and the entire car detailed for less then half. Just gave me piece of mind knowing he uses a meter to fully be able to take any scratches out he possibly can.

Yea and I have only waxed and polished once so after this time around it should be immaculate!! And Rasky seems pretty legit using a meter... Way outta my league!

Well it's been a few days since I've been on here. A crazy past week with Caitlin's accident and totalling out her vehicle. I won't even try to catch up, since things are still crazy. We are pretty set on the replacement vehicle, just working with a great guy down at Apple Ford of Shakopee to get one from the auctions for a good price. Going to end up with a fully loaded Ford Edge sounds like, pretty excited about that. But we haven't bought yet, and it's going to be about a week I think before we even get the vehicle.

Janik did an AMAZING detail inside and out of my half murdered G today. Spectacular work I tell you. So good, it brought out flaws I didn't even knew exsitsed. The car has been rear ended and the bumper resprayed, very poorly and quickly. Spoke to Luther Nissan/Kia today about it, going to hopefully settle on something to satisfy me. The accident wasn't in the carfax when I purhcased it, but it shows up now. Pretty stupid and really pisses me off. But like I said, I'll either be getting some money back (like $500) or I am going to ask if they can repair it to make it look better.

What products did you use? I think I am going to get a glaze for my own car.

Thanks man! I hate being the bearer of bad news for both you AND Paul, but atleast you guys will get some settlements out of it (they will pay for the details plus more ) but I hope it all works out! Thanks again for your business!

Uploading them now. Went and test drove a couple Subaru Outbacks with my sister. Still trying to work her into a FX35 (which she loves), but i think shes gonna end up with a Jetta Sportwagen TDI.

ALso, was it the front bumper that was repainted? The main thing is, its possible it was repainted just because it was beat up from normal wear and tear. That doesn't necessarily have to be in the carfax, and as long as the dealer doesn't advertise "original factory paint", then there's really nothing you can do.

Left the body shop at midnight tonight. Got there after work at 3 and I took your advice, Lance and Tevi and fitted up the front bumper....... 5 hours later It fits like a glove. All kinds of cutting and trimming and grinding. Dayum.. ish is no joke. wetdanded all the parts and will be getting painted tomorrow. Gonna go by sat and wet sand and buff and head over to fifth gear. Now I see why body shops charge so much to install these things. Fanagled the side skirts and they are fitting pretty good now.

Fiberglass is seriously harassing me right now. Took a long sleeve shirt but never put it on an now im paying the price.

Plan is to work on Dans ride then throw on my exhaust @ First Gear on Sat. Who else is going?

Front bumper I feel has probably been resprayed as well, but it is the back bumper thats been removed, resprayed etc. Trunk has been removed (checked bolts) and the rear quarter panels were attempted to be blended in with the trunk and bumper. Didn't turn out so clean however..
