So it has been a rough few days for the wife and I. Today on the drive home, took a rock to the windshield and will need to replace it soon now. But the really big news is that Caitlin was involved in a hit and run Friday morning. Her Escape is messed up a bit in the drivers rear corner, probably 7k in damage. But she ended up with a mild concussion, a large lump on her head and a cut near her now black and blue eye. Pretty scarry stuff and really makes you think about what is important in life.

Sorry to hear that man. Just glad that in the end it wasn't any worse. I wish her a speedy recovery.

That is some scary stuff man, glad she is okay. SO frustrating that someone would even think of leaving the scene of an accident... Hopefully whoever ran from the accident feels like a piece of $h*% for leaving, terrible those people even exist

Oh Damn! Sorry to hear Taylor....Hope she has a speedy recovery. Disclaimer: Not advocating that she should have, but...if someone ever hit my car and took off, they better hope their car is faster than what's left of mine cause I will be giving chase! It's one thing to get in an accident because accidents can and will happen-but there's no forgiveness for a someone having no compassion to make sure the other person is okay or to take responsibility for causing the accident in the first place. Hit and run drivers should never be allowed to drive again.

Im still on the fence about puttin a sticker on the car. I gotta see them in person on a ride

Any other guys have that day available?
I'm down.

That ride is sick. Wish my car was that slammed but the roads are not accomodating. those basically the same as mine. Im really happy with the color scheme. Thinkin of painting my grill the same deep bronze as the lips.

Keep an eye on her after the concussion those can get tricky. 7k in damage... wow that is pretty extensive.

Well just got word from the insurance company that her vehicle is totaled. Too much damage to the suspension. So now we have to look for a new vehicle for her, which good, but I expect our insurance rates to go up. Sucks because that was a good vehicle and it was paid off back in February. Talked to the police today too, and there is nothing they can do without at least three digits of the plate, which no one got because they drove off right away.
