Work and NOT loving it
sounds like i missed a lot yesterday. Dam breaks. EVERYTHING was rusted some how (its not even that old of a car; its like an 08 or so). the pads were stuck to the caliper, the caliper bolts were stuck, the rotors where stuck to the wheel hub. one of the new calipers was defective so i had to do a side twice
was not a fun day at all

Neither...Gonna polish the lips on my wheels. Did a section test on the sanding to see how thick the clear coat and laminated aluminum was. Surprisingly, it's not too deep so hopefully it might not be as bad of a sanding job as I originally feared. The polishing will actually be the trickier task cause of my spokes being in the way of getting a rotary tool in there. I'll post progress pics along the way though when I really put time into it.
I discovered awhile ago that the aftermarket oil filters for a lot of Mitsubishi cars was the same part number as the Nissan V8 engine. And I also know that some people prefer the slightly longer oil filters used on the V8 for their V6 Nissans. So viola, I'm going to use my Mitsubishi MZ690072 oil filter on my G37. It fits perfect. Its about an inch longer than the old filter I had. But more surface area to filter is always a good thing.
Here is a picture of my newly installed Mitsu oil filter on my G37.

Also, for about the same price, you can get Purolater Pure One filters. Some of the best out there, and at a reasonable price. Mann + Hammell and Bosch co-own Purolater, but Purolater makes the filters, as well as for many other brands like Valvoline. There are actually very few makers of filters, they are just labeled for other brands.
