Hello,

Name's Kevin. 26yr old in the medical device line of work.

Don't currently own a G but decided a few years ago it's going to be the next vehicle I own.

Currently in a 2004 RSX-S that's making pretty ok power with the direction I've taken it. Looking to get more involved with autox this summer.Name: 597501ac-3d51-47e3-b8ce-f44b3d4e25ce_zpspmlo6ggm.jpg

I'm planning on picking up a 09+ G37S within the next year or two. Only mods I plan to do are an Invidia exhaust maybe a bit of a darker tint and possibly bags(barring more research). From there it'll just be low and slow for me. Not a stance car by any means but definitely not 4x4 status either.

I won't be very active around the site for a while. Might pop into different threads to read whatever may be upon the pallet of research and curiosity but for now just making the obligatory introductory thread.

Welcome to the site. The Midwest can always use more enthusiasts. I'm pretty new myself...just about to start modding my G37xS sedan in the next couple of months. Hope you find everything you're looking for here. There is a wealth of knowledge here. Pretty much everything you're looking to do will be discussed in detail somewhere on this forum, and the people are very nice and informative.

Seems like you've done a fair bit of research already, but if you're looking at Invidia, I wouldn't count out an Fast Intentions (FI) exhaust as well. Maybe an FI RHFC while you're at it. Not too loud from what I've seen/heard and they make quality products from what I can tell.

Take care and again, welcome to the site!!

Thanks for the welcome

Back at ya for Invidia. I have a Q300 on the RSX and it's just the perfect sound you could want out of an exhaust. If I recall correctly, Invidia only makes the Q300 for the sedan and a different model for the coupe. Don't quote me on that .

*EDIT* Its the Gemini for the coupe. I guess it makes a little more and sounds less raspy. Probably common knowledge around here heh heh.

When it comes time Ill definitely give FI a look.

Thanks again for saying hi!

That RSX looks nice. Make sure to take a look over in the "Intake and Exhaust" sub-forum for some good reading if you haven't already.

Hope you had a good weekend!

Thanks and will do! Still don't know what's what with headers or general weak points of these cars. Two things I'd like to get up on for sure.
