Trust me man, your life will be way easier if you stop with the mods for like 6 months to help fund the wedding. You're working a good list of mods already paid for at this point. I am speaking from experience here too. Weddings usually run a little over initial budget too. Once you know your financial situation after the honeymoon, you will have a timetable to start buying things again.

It was nice to plan, but literally the entire 11 months was spent making offers, negotiating, bargaining, lowballing, and then a full month planning a trip down to GA to pick up the actual car I decided on!

My dad thinks we'd use something like this vs a cabin more. We do so much that we wouldn't ever really use something like a cabin (we take our boat all over vs just one lake) and the weekends we are away it is usually at a relatives house.

With something like this, it is close, he has a place to store his Vette/boat in the winter, the snowmobiles in the summer, and potentially an old car that he wants to fix up down the road.

The problem is that he has hit a brick wall with funding as well. My sisters wedding is in June.

True! for how so many of those things are done up w/ TV's and stuff, just to go there to get away from THE WOMEN, and to just go chill in a loft would be awesome!!
