Hey! Haha, name is Chris. I've been part of G35Driver for a few years now but I don't really post at all although I do follow the MN thread from time to time.

Car is a 2005 G35 Coupe 6MT, Diamond Graphite. Z-Tube, 1/2" Spacer, MRev2 and a Bassani Catback. Had her for a little over 2.5 years now and I love it. Gets stored in the winter and only brought out on sunny days in the summer haha.

Aww that's no good! I'm hoping to see a few other Gs up there or at least some 350s. That road course is an absolute blast to drive!

 

Welcome to the 37 boards! We were pretty unwilling to move over here since at the time most of us had 35s, but as more and more ppl merged here we felt it necessary to make the jump lol.

 

Perhaps someone at BIR on Sat would be kind enough to let me have 5 minutes in the drivers seat of their G37 6MT (not on the road course of course). I'll let ya drive my 1990 RX-7 TII in return . Fairly stock with a mild street port, free-er flowing exhaust, short shifter, and coilovers. A little old, but pulls pretty strong for an old rotary.

Lemme throw something out there guys. What do you guys think of possibly the first "weekend" meet?

Yes yes, we've done meets anywhere from a few minutes just to check out cars/updates, we've done a few hours meets with a cruise or an install, and we've done all day meets with shows/lunch/and a cruise.

Who would be up to cruise up to Brainerd either friday night or EARLY saturday morning, and come back Sunday? Make a weekend out of it? POWERCRUISE would be the perfect opportunity for this which is July 22nd-24th weekend. Lemme know...just wante dto gain interest. I think I'm going no matter what.


Also if you haven't heard, I'll be at a show tomorrow afternoon in Minneap as well(weather pending of course).

 

DUDE i'd be sooo down for that but i think the 24th i'm doing the warrior dash! but i do like the idea. i really want to get my a$$ to BIR but its just not working out so far. i guess it'll happen when the time is right. i wouldn't wanna force it with what i'm going to be doing on the track

what show are you talking about? depending on when ima be done with work, i might stop by

 

you should find out asap and lemme know. Even if we had a group of like 5 guys going up...I KNOW that 6 or 7 of the Z's are planning on going again that are going up tonight as well. Would be a he// of a weekend 4sho! It actually would be a good weekend to try and get a group meet such as the one we had a few years ago w/ the TLs/Bimmers/IS's

 

Warrior Dash (for Hossam and me) is Sunday July 24th. We'll be running at 11:30am.

Also, I've got some pictures of the progress of the Mazda engine swap up. Proof the engine is out of the car. Mazda Engine Swap
