Any of you guys going to Cars and Coffee this Saturday? I'll be there with some of my 3/S buddies, but I wouldn't mind seeing some Gs there. I know I missed out on the big showing last month.
I've also been toying with the idea of setting up a little rural cruise for G owners. Basically taking some fun and twisty country roads just south of the Twin Cities. Let me know if this interests you. I'd probably shoot for next weekend to do the cruise if enough people are interested.

But I've noticed in cities like St. Louis and Memphis that roads seem to be better than us northern folk.

Installed my camber and plenum spacer today at First Gear. Took about 3.5 hrs. I noticed a difference with the spacer right away. It might be the combination of the plenum spacer and the throttle body spacer. Pretty happy. However, from the shop to my house my alignment took a hit. Headn to get a alignment in the morning.
Had my alignment done today.. The back is now perfect and I didn't need to change the toe bolts. The VDC is fine now after the alignment. Drove around for an hour today and starting to feel like the ride is getting to the point where I am starting to feel ok with my progress.
Next mods are:
Chargespeed rear
Ings sides
Spec 1 front
Who knows when but definitely not for a while. Checked out Strafe and they have some great pricing on exterior parts.

I've pretty much all but boycott this site. I still check it out, but with the site not responding well at all for me - it's really a pain to even post.
Not sure what the problem is, this is the only one i have issues with staying logged into.
So - While I'm on here...lol. Janik - that detail was awesome for about a week. Then I was doing a quick detail with some maguires, and I spoted a bug splatter on the hood. So I grabbed my little terry towel and wiped it off. I didn't push down as hard as I could, but my intention was to get the bug off so I was pressing a little. Now I can see swirls where I was pressing. Damn it! They are only visible in direct sun, but now I am realizing how easy it is to put swirls on your car.
I think I am going to be in the boat of "Having a clean car is better than having a swirl free car" and just deal with it. Living in MN, there is no way I can avoid taking this thing through a carwash at some point. Granted, I'm still very selective at which ones I goto, but even the nicer (i.e. Perfect 10) washes are going to leave marks of some kind. Oh well, it is what it is.
Not sure if it was someone on here, but I ran into a kid with a red g37S coupe yesterday on Coon Rapids Blvd. We raced for a few lights and had a little fun. I screwed the pooch on the first run (it was pretty obvious when I quit at 15 mph), but the next 2 went a whole lot better than I expected. What's the HP difference between the 35 and the 37? I wasn't expecting more than a chance to have a little fun. Instead I found I was actually able to pull pretty well (3-4 cars from green light to red light)
I have new respect for these automatics I guess.
Oh well - this is Glow, signing off again for a while.

HELLO ALL! I've been afk for quite awhile and I apologize. Just wanted to drop by and say hi to all. Tevi you will have to let me know what you think of Newt's, its a pretty bad *** place. Best place in Roch for a burger 8 years in a row, and as you could see by the pic it isn't a surprise why LOL. Anyone up to anything exciting so far this week?

BTW, heres a swirl free way to wash your car. Takes a little more time, but oh so worth it.

And the HP on the 37s is 330 (vs our 306) but they are heavier so it kinda washes out to about equal performance.

I absolutely love Newt's. I need to get to Roch again soon to have a burger there. One of the best burger's I've ever had for sure. Even though I never lived there, only visits Caitlin there when she lived there for a year, I do miss many parts of it.
