Just finished these up tonight. Was kind of trying to go for an OEM look. I used a reflective sticker that actually shades darker and lighter at different angles. We were thinking of keeping the OEM plate in there but its almost impossible to remove it and reuse it without bending or denting it. So i wrapped the sills in 2x2 twill cf, then applied the vinyls, and then did my coats on top. Giving the sills tons of depth and make the vinyls pop even more. Opinions welcome of course.

Thanks guys. I try to do as much non OEM stuff as i can. I gets kinda boring doing the same thing over and over again. Plus being unique is what Modding cars is all about....send some pics of those door sills bro and if they come apart and all that.

Wow, they look great! I'd love to see some pics of the illuminated door sills. I can't say I'm considering any CF work for my car, but it's always nice to see really quality work, especially when it's as unique as this.

 

all u gotta do is make the illumination ones!
