I installed the spoiler but I guess its rubbing against the roof when I go over the bumps because its making a screeching noise. Do you have any suggestions on how to make it stop without moving it down so that it doesnt touch the roof? It actually only touches the roof at about the 1/3 and 3/4 of the spoiler length; middle is fine and i think the corners are not touching.

if you need to order one from GTSPEC i have a friend who does carbon fiber vinyl overlays onto these spoilers if you're interested.... he just did a full vinyl wrap on a GTR and a Ferrari rear diffuser

so he's local and before GTSPEC ships out the spoiler he can install that at a cost of course

I highlighted the areas where it rubs. Its hard to see in the pics but if I take a piece of paper and run it between the roof and the spoiler, it fits fine everywhere except in the highlighted areas; the paper gets stuck in those areas and wont go through. And once you pass those points then it fits fine again until the end of the spoiler.
So the lesson here is that to install the spoiler is not as easy as just sticking it on the window, you need to make sure there is some space between the roof and the spoiler so it doesn’t rub when the car moves.
Let me know how you guys think I can fix it; I really don’t want to peel it off because then I would need to reapply the double sided tape.

i see what you mean... well a small gap is always needed -- look before you install the spoiler that even from the factory there is some gap for the window and roof

Well the gap is there if you just look at it but if you try to pass a piece of paper there it wont go through. I guess its because the spoiler is rounded on the top so the middle part touches but the top doesnt. But anyways, how do i fix it.

This will be good to know for anyone else who is going to install the spoiler; make sure the spoiler doesnt touch the roof.

This is the first I heard of the problem. Wondering did ur painter put in extra primers ? Also moving the spoiler a little down should fix it.

You must have some good hearing to hear noises like this !!!!
