Help High Flow Cat Decisions
Hi all,
Been researching around the forum, looking for a solution to my rattling cats. I've decided on HFCs but have no preference for brand or budget really as long as it's less than what OEMs cost! Around here I have seen:

- Z1
- Fast Intentions
- Invidia
- Kinetix
- Berk
- ARK
- AAM
Resonated FI would be the quietest. I think that's the direction I'm going to go. I have the Berks with a Ark Grip and it is pretty loud. Almost too loud for me sometimes.
I wanted the Motordyne art pipes but they don't fit the awd without modification and they are supposed to be louder than the Berks.

Any high-flow cats you get are gonna sound the same IMO unless they’re resonated, I went with Kinetix for mine because of their warranty (lifetime) and good reviews….they are quite a bit louder than my stock ones though, so I may add some resonators later on.
I’ll be having my AAM resonated high flow cats installed within the next few weeks and will post a video once they are on. I’ll be running them with my HKS hi-power catback on my coupe, for now. But they are good looking past some back purging that was missed. Nothing I can’t live with though. They use Gesi 10025 cats which should hold up to higher Hp levels for supercharged applications or a built motor. One thing to note though is that the Gesi 10025 are not their EPA approved cats, according to the Gesi website. So for more strict states, the AAM resonated HFCs might not pass. But I’m guessing (er hoping) they still will pass smog…Gesi makes the best of the best.
