With how much space these cars have Im surprised no one has transformed the Y pipe into Resonators with a Y instead.
Resonators work with lenght, the longer and better quality that the resonator has the better job it will perform.
This is why you see many setups with 3+ resonators.
In my opinion, resonated pipes with the longest resonators you can squeeze in the Y pipe should yield the results wanted.

I also believe that a for those interested in the Single exit, if done properly you'll get the best of both worlds as long as you are ok with seeing a single exhaust.

Rasp is common in the honda world and most of their quality aftermarket exhausts place 12" + resonators to get rid of lawnmower noises.

 

Update. I never messed with y pipe.

Figured I’d wait and install the signal exit soho Motorsport catback exhaust and see where it was at with other after market parts

Well its extremely loud on cold start. Idle is quite little rumble. After that just loud period. I’m try the bigger resonators instead for y pipe, as u guys said.
