I've read that bigger throttle bodies can help. What else should be upgraded to make the most of the intake?

 

You will need a tune if you get the 3 inch TB
very experience tuner

 

There's Mike Upton, RZG, LMT, Rabbit Hole, which are all 3" intakes. Some have a better price, and have more customizable options.

 

What is your budget? Because that is a bold question.

Anything that you can enlarge in the intake path is really the answer.
After this if you're not enlarging the exhaust so this added air can flow out properly you're not gaining much.

If you're planning on going with bigger throttles spend some time in the porting dept. of the intake to make the best you can bolted wise.
