Flex Pipe removal/replacement

I want to know if it is possible to cut out and remove the flex pipes on my Megan racing Y-pipe, and replace them with resonators without any issues of anything cracking or being damaged.

That doesn’t really give me any explanation. It’s it okay to run without flex pipes?

It's not a good idea to remove the flex pipe. The exhaust system needs to be able to flex as the engine shifts and moves.

Nothing is going to crack or get damaged...it's a steel system with integrated rubber hangers...As the engine moves so does the exhaust via the hangers. Still doesn't matter, virtually every after market piece you see is a solid system. Take a quick look at the design of the top three rated aftermarket systems for the G37.....

I’m getting some pretty mixed opinions here.

Not a good idea! Leave the flex section alone

Fast intentions: deleted flex section, Ark: Deleted flex section. I myself have deleted said flex section..zero issues.

Go for it.

I replaced my flex sections with pipes on my Motordyne exhaust. No problems so far. If anything, it gave me more ground clearance with the center muffler.
