No drone please

Hey everyone! Looking for an exhaust for my Infiniti G37 sedan, automatic transmission, that will not produce any drone. If it has any chance of producing drone, no thanks. Please don’t tell me to keep it stock either. If so, I’ll just wait a few more years and get my M3. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

So does that mean that any exhaust on the automatic have the potential to cause drone?

It's not just being auto it's regarding changing the exhaust resonance by changing diameters of piping and or placement of resonators/mufflers. The length of the piping to the resonator and or muffler also changes resonance. The factory ones are tuned for this so you don't drone. If you want a little more rumble without drone you can source an ipl exhaust which happens to be for sale in the for sale section.

Also, can you get better sounds, i.e. more rumble without drone by doing a simple axle back exhaust?

Except the IPL coupe exhaust doesn't bolt up to a sedan, which the OP owns.
