Takeda cai fitment problem

Hi guys. I just got the Takeda long tube cai. But the pvc corner doesn’t fit in the inlet. The pvc crimps extremely bad and really restricts the airflow.

Can some Takeda couple owners give me some feedback?

Are you talking about the coupling that goes through the bumper inlet? If so....I cut the bumper inlet like you would do with the Stillen.

Just installed mine a couple days ago. It's tight so take your time. I used soup and water around the tube. Did you take the air box out stated in the manual?

It can fit if you squish it but when you bend it it’s very constricted because it’s not exactly a right angle.

Cut the support. It's plastic.

I cut mine. I don't see how you would install this without cutting and not have a massive distortion to airflow. At least in my case, the Takeda was cheaper
