Silicon intake tubes

Does anyone know if there is any real difference in the quality of the different brands of intake tubes? I'm looking at Mishimoto, Concept Z, HPS and whatever other brand I have to choose from. I don't want to have to cut the tubes, just plug and play. Thanks for any info.

Its all the same, and as far as I know they don't do a whole lot. Just for looks.

My car has the HPS from a previous owner. He apparently needed to trim them. Looks like he used rusty garden shears

I have the HPS ones. I also needed to trim them. Just use a razor blade. Cuts through it perfectly. I did it for looks...but supposedly the less turbulent air is a good thing, and these provide that.

I just did the ISR intake tubes. My thinking was to make the intake look better. I did not need to trim these and the fit was really good. I did end up find two benefits from them 1: The intake noise seems deeper and fuller above 3k RPM with the tubes, and 2: The motor seems smoother when reeving up, like its breathing easier, if that makes sense.

Thanks for all the responses. I'm thinking about getting the silicon tubes along with some R2C Black Hex filters. This car makes me want to spend money.....
