Help! About to buy exhaust, talk me out of it.

I'm about to spend $1.3K on ark grip. Call me cheap or whatever but that's kind of a lot and am having second thoughts about it. I really want it tho!

I just got my car tuned with ecutek and I feel like I'm in boy racer mode again. Really want to get CBE. Talk me out of it fam!

It is a lot. I've been in your position. Just found a used stillen so I'm saving some money going used. If you can comfortably afford it and can't wait for a deal or used then go for it.

^ I was thinking about used, but nothing really on the marketplace. Looked into Top Speed but I want a true CBE. I hate to say it, but Top Speed just doesn't look sexy; looks clunky. But I mean it's $480 for a brand new mid back. Just feels like it wouldn't be too much of an upgrade to my IPL exhaust. Only other $1K+ exhaust I kind of want but didn't like as much as the Ark was HKS. But I feel like If I were to spend $1.1K, I might as well spend $1.3 and get what I truly want.

Still, $1.3k, and I know I don't "need" it. My passion side is screaming for me to do it but my rational side is asking me why I need this so much lol. I have the cash to spend, but I know it's not a good financial decision to buy this. But as everyone can understand, I want my toy! :P

I also figure, when I sell it, I can probably get about half back. Being in SoCal, probably won't be too hard to find a local buyer. And I feel like brands like Ark and HKS would still be popular in the used market. At least I hope.

Help me guys, I'm talking myself further into the purchase lol.

You're getting a great deal from us + installed at Ark Performance. So ease of mind.

^ I'm in, started getting 2nd thoughts because of a lot of little things I found out yesterday like the exhaust hanging low. Which I now discovered is a fixed issue. I've convinced myself

Can't wait to hear the ark in a couple hours.

Spend the extra few hundred and go Motordyne if you can swing it. The exhaust note is worth it.

^ this.. ark was too low for me and wasnt as pronounced both sight and sound..
although if it was down to cost... ark is a great alternative to motordyne

Exhaust installed. it's a little tiny bit loud/drone low RPM, but other than that it sounds great.

Window down, low rpm sounds so good.

Give it some time to break in. Ark makes a great sounding system that's very deep and throaty. Great purchase, and don't second guess yourself.

Honestly in terms of sound, my old top speed axleback sounded better than my Ark CBE + HFC lol. But the Ark def looks 10x better than the TS axlebacks
