Of course, by the time it comes to that, it doesn't really matter anymore, LOL.
I was trying to keep it light and have some humor in my last couple of posts. I know some people can get rather ugly on the forums. I think you and I both get annoyed when someone says something that is clearly wrong and then tries to back track and make excuses. The difference is you usually go right for the jugular and I "try" to be a little more forgiving.

I was just about to comment on the underlying humor of you and 2GoRNot2G's comments going in a completely different direction- almost as if to say, "I'm going to sit over here and whistle innocently while watching from a distance. This should be good." Good times.

Jesus Tapdancing Christ, he's hung up on semantics, but i'm pretty sure he understands what i mean ... (or doesn't?). i'll rephrase - "the stock air boxes can PROVIDE more air than the engine REQUIRES. now smack yourself in the face with an axe HANDLE.

4DRZ, enjoy your intake, make MASSIVE amounts of additional power in your rac3cAr G37 ... IDGAF anymore.

So not only can you not admit when you are wrong, but then you resort to telling Rochester to smack himself in the face with an axe handle and then you try to make fun of my car again.

Step too far. I'm not going to stoop to your level so let me give you some advice before you get banned. Before you start giving opinions about performance mods for sedans you might want to own one or at least have one performance mod on your car. So do us all a favor and grow up and take your bone stock automatic coupe back to the coupe forum. I'll let you know when I need a new emblem for my winter floor mats since it looks like that is the only thing you have done to your car so far. Buh Bye!

aww, you mad enough to research my car!

i haven't really done any mods to the G because
1) its a daily driver
2) there really isn't anything that adds a significant amount of power at a reasonable cost
3) i don't need a signature full of mods to gain approval of the internet for my ego

i've modded plenty of turbo Subarus, Porsches, and an Evo, but didn't really feel the need to mod the G for commuting to work.
i will leave now before you get even angrier.

Have you considered changing your SN to Landwhale?

Agreed. At the advice of someone else who I greatly respect on this forum, this is simply not worth my time.

9. Don't be a jerk. This is very simple. If your post contributes nothing but negativity, it will most likely be removed.

smacking yourself with an axe handle was a joke, but if you are that easily butt-hurt, i will refrain from anymore jokes.

There is nothing to research because you have not done anything to your car.
i've done plenty to my car, just no power mods. yeah, i'd like a 400whp super/turbo charged G37, but at the cost and reliability factor, its not worth it to me, however it may be worth it to others who track their car or who have deep pockets. i'd rather pay off my house than make it to work 30 seconds quicker.

Ask Rochester and most of the rest of the people on this forum if they used the excuse of "daily driver" to keep from modding their car.
its not an excuse, its just my sense of logic. am i afraid to do mods? is there some rule you must mod, lest you be considered a lesser person? again, you seem hung up on internet car forum e-cred. IDGAF what you or any internet folks think - i'll do what i want to my car because i paid for it.

Every car costs money to modify and the G37 is the same as the 370Z and cheap compared to Mini, VW, Porsche, Corvette, BMW, Mercedes, Volvo, Saab, Audi, Lexus, GT-R, Viper, etc.
thank-you, very insightful. i've modded Porsches, and i'm aware of mod costs. G37 may be "cheap" to mod, but the $$$/gain ratio is low. $300 got me 50+hp on my Evo. to do that on the G, you're looking at $thousands.

I have yet to meet anyone on this forum who has a signature line to "gain the approval of the internet" for their ego. We do it for the same reason we are on this forum and the same reason we have build threads- so people can see our mods and ask us for help or advice or save themselves from making the same mistakes.

... or to belittle those that haven't modded their car? that's what you seem to be doing.

Good riddance! I hope this is true.
maybe. maybe not.
