Stillen short tube header clearance

Today was the day I was supposed to have the header install finished. Unfortunately the header hits the bolt holding the steering to the rack. I'm calling Stillen to see if they will make it right.

I've seen other people with this problem - anyone find a solution that doesn't involve waiting for a new header? It's so close I was thinking a button head bolt would give the clearance needed, but the shop said they couldn't get one in grade 8 or better.

This is on a 2008 G37 coupe, stock motor mounts, nothing that would shift position of engine relative to steering.

Does anyone have the specs (spline number, shaft diameter) for the steering column u joint? Thinking if I could find round one like used on street rods I would have plenty of clearance.
