Inexpensive exhaust

Yes I like the sound that my 09 G37x coupe has but I'm looking for a little bit more of an aggressive sound. Not to loud or expensive though. I've seen top speed axleback and Beluga racing axleback for around $269-$300. Which one should I go with or shouldn't go with at all any help would be appreciated thanks in advance.

Could get a catback custom exhaust. Or, you could have the mufflers removed.

I have an 08 Coupe S and I went with the Beluga for $260. Great little mod IMHO. 10 minutes to install, no lift needed, slightly deeper, more aggressive sound. Quality seems really good, perfect fit.

Thinking about doing custom set-up and running all the way through or to an aftermarket axleback. Would definitely be cost effective over a full after market name brand system but at least then you kind of know what you're getting if you go that route.

same - very happy with the sound, except not the 10 minute install that it should have been - exhaust bolts were seized (on a '13 with under 30k miles no less )

had to take it to a muffler shop to get them torched off.

its just right for me - deeper and just at the edge of loudness to sound good without being annoying.

If you can swing $500, get the J2 exhaust off of Ebay. Most folks get if or less than $500 shipped. It's a true dual with good build quality. It's an HKS copy. You'll make more power with a true dual vs. an axle-back.

Doesn't sound too bad on the Coupe actually but I'd never have it on my sedan....just heard a clip and it sounded like the G lost 2 cylinders....

Scratch my eBay suggestion, I didn't see the X...I just looked and the full, true dual system is no longer on eBay anyway. They're selling a single muffler system. Wonder if they got in trouble for selling a knockoff. The single exit kits sound like ****. I had some asshat trying to race me in a 370Z on the highway with tons of traffic, and it sounded absolutely horrible. And apparently the single exit muffler system turns you into a complete douche-bag. But I digress...

But...you can find them here for the regular Coupe, full dual system: Catback Exhausts

Can confirm, S2000 in my fiance's hometown loves revving at me while in town....a 25 mph zone. Where we racing to? Light to the grocery store 2 blocks away??

Dual outlets just looks better IMO. Think it says something when two of the best sounding single outlet cars (STi, EVO X) converts to a dual system. You go from two to one, you've gone from watching F & F to living it.
