axle back modification - Anyone try this?
Many of us like the price and sound of the axle back exhausts out there but a lot of us complain of the drone or loudness of the exhaust inside the vehicle. Has anyone modified a set of these and installed a Helmholtz can on the side like Ark and Topspeed have done? Just a thought that it might improve the sound on the inside without affecting the outside sound.
This is probably the most useful information I've been able to find, but it's anything but straight forward:

pretty happy with my Beluga axleback - its just the right amount of extra volume without being annoying (and it was cheap!)
nice and deep sounding, not the Chewbacca bark i was expecting from the typical Z/G37 exhaust.
