My tuner was completely against the CAI, not for airflow but actually due to the added heat soak because the metal tubing not only conducts heat but also retains it longer aswell compared to the stock tubing. All in all there might be some added gains but those can decrease the longer you demand at WOT like on track days.

That's why I like my Injen SRI, uses the factory flex pipes and just a small metal MAF tube, doesn't seem to be affected from the heat like most other aftermarket intakes.

I actually understand what you're asking, regardless of the language problems. And I don't recommend it, because of fitment around the TB and the engine cover. I wanted to use T-Bolts, too. Even went so far as to purchase them for that project... but decided against it. Just use the worm clamps, and don't over-torque them. Just make it snug.
