So I know it's a pretty known issue, but I'm pretty sure I have Snap, Crackle, and Pop in my Y pipe cooking up some Rice Krispies. This is not the same muffler buzz issue with the 08 models, but instead it seems like the heat is dissipating from the Y pipe after some hard or long driving, even with the engine still on. I was wondering if removing the Y pipe heat shield will remedy this, or if anyone (with this experience) knew how Infiniti was handling this -warranty wise. I have 29k and until June for my basic warranty, so I'd like to get this fixed asap. Thanks in advance for any help!
