R2C Short Ram or Takeda Cold Air Intake???
I installed my R2C black nickel black hex filter intake about a month ago and love it... Easy installation.. This is the only mod I have so far, as you can really hear the intake low growl when you hit the gas.. Catback exhaust early next year... Purchased mine from TunerZ Store, as they have a great group buy price. Just my 2 cents.

The SRI is pretty much pointless for power, although the butt-dyno reacts well to all the added noise. And let me tell you, WOT to redline can make a heck of a racket. Particularly when air temps get low with Winter.
That said... the R2C setup is very attractive, particularly in black nickel. I've had it for over two years now, and only recently upgraded to the Black Hex Series filters, with absolutely zero perceived difference before/after.
My long term plan is to upgrade to the Takeda long-tube intake before getting an UpRev tune, still two years out. In the meantime, the engine bling is pretty undeniable. If you're into that, and looking for a DIY noisemaker... well, there's nothing wrong with that.

I started off with the R2C for the first 4 months of having the car and it was great. Looks nice and has a little bit of roar to it, but my only reason for going to Takeda is living in GA the temperatures are wayyyy too hot for a SRI. Loving my new Takeda though, had it on there for about 5-6 months now and its great addition. Easy installation vs harder installation but more power and less heat.
