Are all Hi-Flo Cats specifically used for Manual Tranny only?

I was just wondering because I was looking into catalytic converters and since I have an Ark Grip catback, I thought why not get Ark Hi-Flo Cats? Then I realized that it's advertised as only for Manual transmission only. So I can't use it for my 7at. Any recommendations about Hi-Flo cats?

Here's a link to the cats: Nissan 350Z, 370Z and Infiniti G37 Coupe/Sedan | R-Spec High Flow Cats 2007-ON | 3.5L, 3.7L

So does that mean that not all hi flo cats are meant for the manual tranny?

Also, I looked up Fast Intentions and noticed they had different pipes available that replaced the OEM cat. What are the difference between the following?

"G37 COUPE HI FLOW CATS"
Fast Intentions

"G37 RESONATED TEST PIPES"
Fast Intentions

"G37 NON-RESONATED TEST PIPES"
Fast Intentions

"G37 RESONATED CAT PIPES"
Fast Intentions

The Cats & Test Pipes come in resonated & non resonated versions, the performance between resonated & non resonated will be very similar. The resonated versions will be a bit quieter but more importantly, will reduce or eliminate rasp, and drone. Keep in mind Test Pipes will emit a strong gas odor when the vehicle is at a stand still, so if you spend a lot of time in stop & go traffic that's something to consider, you will get slightly more gain from test pipes though after a tune.

Ok so what about the automatic and manual tranny compatibility? Does it matter at all? Or in Ark's case, are they the only ones requiring their cat to be compatible with only manual transmission, considering I have a 7AT Journey coupe?

Also, how come the test pipes provide better gains after a tune but a few hundred dollars cheaper than the hi flow cats from FI?

The ARKs have big side resonators that I assume won't clear the bigger AT body.
Test pipes are just straight pipes without any pollution reduction, Cats contain a catalyst chamber that contains expensive metals platinum, palladium and rhodium, and the extra cost of containing those metals.

I have Z1 hfc on my auto and love them. Sounds great, no drone and never a check engine light... and cheaper price than most with the same quality and insides.

Ahhh ok that makes sense. So if choose to go with resonated test pipes I wouldn't have to worry about emissions? I live in Texas so it's not Cali but just curious about inspection down here.

I would definitely ask around before purchasing them, if they perform a visual check those won't pass.

So my best bet would be with high flow cats instead of test pipes in order to pass inspection then?

Is Fast Intentions the only option for resonated HFCs?

Pretty sure Motordyne ART pipes are considered resonated? Someone may have to back me up on that. I have them and they are great.

ARK makes a resonated HFC utilizing the same hemholtz resonator as the motordyne ART. However, it is for a 6MT transmission only.

Motordyne ART is a test pipe, not a HFC.
