Y Pipe Question

Which aftermarket pipe seems to be the best? I am trying to create a custom setup and I am looking to get something that will accommodate 2.5" piping and not have rasp. Motordyne products seem to be overpriced in my book. I know there is Megan Racing, Stillen...who else am I missing? What have been your experiences with these pipes? Just trying to figure out how to do this and do it right the first time! Thanx guys

If you can find someone selling the Exhaust Depot Y pipe then you'd have true 2.5" pipe @ the collector, all the others I've seen have a 3" collector mount.
Unfortunately the Exhaust Depot product is no longer made

Thanx guys. I want to get a little more flow and have a deep tone but I don't thing I am gonna get a full exhaust. I gonna upgrade the Y pipe, get 2.5" piping and keep the stock muffler. See what sound I get out of that. The CBE setups seem like they might be too loud for what I am wanting

Tanabe, T50063. 70mm at the connections, then 60+mm throughout the piping. Then maybe the upgraded stainless sport muffler for our Coupe?

Anyone keep the stock cats but use an aftermarket y pipe (and muffler)? Any rasp?

^^^this is where I am going. Gonna use stock cats (I live in Cali) aftermarket Y pipe, slightly larger exhaust piping, stock muffler. I have not decided weather I will do a resonator delete or not...thats still in the air. But I want a deeper tone and a little boost in power and I think this will work and be cheaper than getting a CBE and running the risk of sounding ricey in the process.

I have...but its the cost that bothers me. To pay almost the same amount for a CBE just for an axle back seems pointless no matter how good it sounds

still cant do it. I have been thinking about pulling the trigger on an Invidia setup instead of my original plan. I don't want anything too loud, just a little more aggressive and from what I hear (youtube) they sound great. I dunno, I always flip flop until I just pick one. LoL. I research a ton of crap and then eventually make a decision. If Tanabe made a full CBE i'd get it
