Does anyone know if the IPL exhaust (ONLY the axle-back portion) will bolt right up to a regular G37? I think there is some difference in piping sizes I believe. Not sure though about the axle-back portion though.

Considering buying the Megan Racing axle-back assuming I can sell my IPL axle-back portion.

I like the sound of the IPL as is (sounds really good actually) but thinking about doing a modest upgrade.

 

Yes an IPL axleback will bolt up to a non-ipl g37.

Did you get the Megan? If so, how does it compare with the stock IPL exhaust? I just bought a 2011 IPL and I would like to improve the sound a little bit. TIA.

 

Not to thread jack but if you're looking for a nice sound improvement on an ipl I went with a muffler delete. Wallet friendly and definitely gives the car some attitude. And when I compared it with some local guys with muffler deletes on g37 sports it is definitely louder on an ipl. Just have to live with the drone but you get used to it
