Help! Test pipe bolt snapped in half

Hey guys. Awesome times for me. So i was trying to replace my test pipes today and on the infamous driver side top bolt........snapped right in half. Im not sure on what to do as to how im gonna be able to get a drill in that spot. Cant really reach it from the bottom and definately not from the top. Is there anyway to fix this? If i gotta take the header off i might as well get some new ones. Please let me know of any solutions you guys might have that could save me some time.

There's a reason we call it the demon bolt here

On my car, the fabricator had to torch the **** out of it to get it out. Now that yours snapped I'm guessing you'll have to try and weld something on the bolt to try and remove it.

Best of luck!

Yeah man, that's unfortunate. Like ^^^, it's gonna have to be torched off. Did you soak your bolts for a day or so in PB Blaster before you got started? That always helps make things a little more manageable, versus accidentially breaking a bolt.

Yeah man, a couple hours for a couple of days would have been more like it.

I'm not sure if there's enough room to work with them still installed, but that would be a sure fire way to get a torch on that broken bolt.

Well. Im getting long tubes since the test pipes have resonators that are shot. Hate the annoying rattle. 100 bucks for some used headers. Looks rough but ima have them heatwrapped before i install them

So. Quick question. The top bolt where the manifold and testpipe meet......are both the testpipe and manifold threaded right there? Or is it just the testpipe that is threaded?

There is one bolt on the manifold that is fixed. When replacing my cats, I used 2 nut/ bolt sets, and a third nut for that fixed stud (on each side).

Well im just talkin about the one you gotta get from up top. Thats the head that broke off. Is that hole threaded on both the test pipe and the manifold or just the test pipe. Cuz if its just the pipe ima just pull the whole thing out and redrill that one since its stuck in there

From what I remember, the bottom bolt is the stud. The two on top are the nut and bolt combo.

Edit: I looked at my OEM cats and it looks like on the driver's side it's the bottom, while passenger side is the top right (looking down from the engine bay).

Also, on the passenger side the stud is mounted to the manifold.
