HFC's- Choices

I have been poking around looking for HFC's Yes I know everyone is going to say FI and RHFC's but want to see other options. Berks are OUT, Long story short installed them on my 08 and car was stuck at the dealer for 6 months would'nt drive. So was looking at Kinetex, and Motiv Concepts HFC's. Anyone have anything on these or another set .
Thank you

I am interested in hearing why the "Berk" HFCs instigated a mechanical or CEL issue with your '08 G.

How would the Kinetics operate any different? Aside from the amount of metal, brakets and material thickness, they are pretty similar. Would they not have similar result to the cars ECU and exhaust function? If someone has had a bad experience with Berks as well please chime in because I am planning HFCs as my first mod.... ?!?

They never told me why? the car was acting that way. They where just going back and forth with tech line trying different things, They swapped out both MAF's, all the O2's and MAP sensor, they gave up and swapped back in the stock cats?

All aftermarket HFCs use basically the same thing, they buy catalytic converter core from Vibrant and weld some pipes to it. The only difference is weld quality, that's about it.

From: Framingham Ma,
Not true there is difference in cel count and were the bung for the 02 sensor is placed. Some people the cell count is important and the O2 sesor bung. For me both are nothing stupid loud( Z1 are 300 Cell) and the O2 extender so NO CEL light. I have to pass emissions in MA so to tune the CEL out is not an option for me. An Noise it noise

That is true that there's different cell count, but these are just different core fillers from Vibrant. Cat cores are never made by the companies you buy HFC from. The 02 censor bung is in the same exact spot and of the same exact size on all of the HFCs I've seen although I don't calim to have seen all of them.

From: Framingham Ma,
The O2 sensors are not really moved just moved back from the exhaust stream. If you look at mine and the use the bottom one you can see the sensor will be moved back from the stream,
An would the cost would be pretty close to what these cost anyways. :/

The Fast Intention HFCs use the same Cat. substrate as the Kinetix HFCs. Both cats are produced by a company called Canammex and are assembled separately by the two companies. My HFCs from Kinetix have the exact same stampings on the side of the cats as the Fast Intentions HFCs. No ****...... Google "canammex catalytic converters" if you don't believe me. SMH

This may be a dumb question (new to the forums), but are HFCs ever used with the stock CAT back? If not, why?
