Invidia Q300 vs. Gemini

My G is bone stock, but I am looking into an exhaust system. I've narrowed it down to these two as far as Invidia. What does the forum think? Any other suggestions? I'd like to make noise out the back. Lol.

Don't say you've narrowed it to those two but ask for other suggestions. Because members are going to suggest literally every exhaust made for the G37. Here, I'll start. Skip both Invidias and get a Motordyne E370.

Or fast intentions. E370 and Fast Intentions are my favorites.

If you're going to make noise out the back I would say invidia is the quietest aftermarket exhaust I have heard but probably the easiest on the wallet. If budget is of no concern then I vote Fujistsubo Legalis R.

Basically, it comes down to your own preference. Fast Intentions is known for making pretty decent power for just a bolt on and has no rasp.

I just ordered this exact setup that Lance has on his 370Z.

2.5" piping, upgraded X-pipe, non-resonated and Resonated HFC's. Should sound pretty loud and tasty on a sedan.

I just listened to the Motordyne E370 and I have to say, it sounds nice! But ultimately, finding the right exhaust tone is a LOT like chasing that perfect guitar tone (for those that are guitar players). It's often very subjective and can be elusive. I listened to tons of clips on youtube for years and I've only just pulled the trigger on an exhaust.

This Invidia on this Sedan sounds pretty good but has some rasp to it. Bear in mind he's also running test pipes so that could contribute to rasp if they're not resonated.

No rasp on my sedan, just a cat back, no test pipes. Very mild, but plenty loud at higher rpm.

gemini > Q300... main reason they replaced teh Q300 with the gemini lol..

Q300 = rasp... extremely bad.

The New gemini = rasp PROOF practically even with TP's it sounds sick. no rasp.

I know this post is a bit old, but I wanted to chime in as an owner of the gemini exhaust. At low rev's (up to 3k), the sound is deep and a little louder than stock. At full throttle it screams like a beast (in a good way). I absolutely love my exhaust because it's the perfect balance that I was looking for especially since I frequently drive my family around in it. There's VERY little drone that you might notice on the highway if you have the radio off, and to be honest the road noise from the tires is louder than the drone.
