Well finally arrived , dropped the car off tonight to be installed tomorrow
Now???? How long can I go with out a tune ? I was under the impression as long as I don't go WOT I should be good .

You should be fine even with WOT, they're only HFC and they won't change A/F ratio that much .. i know people driving with full exhaust system for a year now with no issues or what so ever..

 

I have full exhaust an intakes , sorry rest is in my sig

A tune is definitely not 100% mandatory. I ran Gen3's paired with RHFCs and full catback for over 2 years. I had planned to tune but never got around to it.

Its "recommended" to get your full HP/TQ potential out of the bolt ons, but its not "required".

Ok WOW holy crap it's DEEP! An got on it a little and was loud but a good loud .
When I started it and at idle you can't even tell not one bit louder.
Now the only thing is in decel there is a rattle "hiss"
Has to be my set up , I will have vids tomorrow

 

That's the VQ hiss. I actually like it. It's just the sound the engine makes, not much you can do about it.

 

Can't wait to hear the video !

The workmanship that went into these is amazing where so nice
I didn't want to put them on the car LOL . Much props to lance on the GB
An to FI an a GREAT MADE product !!

 

Also sorry for the short clips , the place I use has construction all over the place and my Aunt called on the driving one LOL . Maybe more to come
