Had mine on for about 2 months before I did the tune. Gas mileage dropped a bit, but I think that it was just from me getting on it all the time....still have a smile on my face when I park in the employee garage and all the car alarms go off.

As stated above, tune isn't required....but it's a nice perk.

Hey mike, did this make check engine light ever come on? Im thinking about getting those rhfc to go with my ark grip cat back.

Installed correctly, high flow cats, resonated or otherwise, will not cause a Check Engine Light. Test pipes *may* cause a light, depending on the pipe design and how they were installed.
