Top Cold Air Intakes
No, the Stillen Gen 3 intakes require you to widen the existing holes through the radiator shroud. I used an oscillating cutter, it takes 2 minutes to make the cut and a few more to clean it up. All you're doing is widening the holes so the pipes can have enough clearance. Don't be skittish about doing it, just measure twice, cut once.
The R2C is very popular here, it's true. I think people are just scared to cut on their car. Think of it as weight savings. Think of all the horsepowers you'll gain after dropping those plastic bits!
STILLEN Gen 3's or the Takeda will get you about the same gains (most of any of the intakes). The Gen 3's are a little harder to install but better quality and finish in the end. Takeda will get you about the same gains and cost a little less...but do you want to support China or America? Gotta guilt trip everyone a little here and there with that
Side note would be Gen 3's are CARB legal if that matters where you live

I have the K&N Typhoons and I love em. Easy install, cost effective, and sound great. Even my wife grinned when I first opened up the throttle after the install. (she's absolutely not a car person).
