Cleaning Takeda Filter?

Hey all, been awhile since I last posted, but I'm due for an air filter cleaning on my Takeda long tube air attack. Any advice? or are there any threads someone can point me to? Did a search, but couldn't find anything specific.. unless I missed it. Thanx

Happy modding!

I just installed mine and was wondering the same thing. What am I going to do when it comes time to clean them. Hopefully pop off the top cover and have access; otherwise, that bumper is coming off.

i just cleaned mine. depending on the tools you have at your disposal and where you have the crimps facing for access you can get the filter off without taking the bumper off....i however didn't plan ahead and had basic tools so i had to take my bumper off. just rinsed it, left it out in the hot florida sun for 45 minutes and put it back on

"Tools", as in a screwdriver long enough to reach the screw on the clamps, right?

yup. if you had the clamps turned toward the top (where you could get to it after removing the plastic cover) or a screw driver long and thin enough to fit in the spaces in the grill, then you don't have to take the bumper off. i however didn't plan ahead and din't have a long/thin enough screw driver on hand so had to take the bumper off
