Tanabe axle back w/ E.D. Y pipe (HFC's? Uprev?)

I have K&N SRI's Installed currently

I have a Tanabe axle back & E.D. y pipe on the way.

Is a uprev tune worth it or only when do test pipe/HFCs?

Is it really $500 or is there a cheaper option to do a tune thru uprev? not the mail in ecu.

Thanks

I'd wait until you have HFC or TP before tuning

I know test pipes/HFC's give you more gains but I'm don't want to do them. Not crazy how they sound (raspier/hissing noise) and there like $300-350 used plus 2 hour job to Install for total = $550

If the gains are only noticeable when doing test pipes/HFC's I wouldn't want to spend the additional $600.

I paid $299 K&N Intake (sold my factory for $150) so $150, Tanabe axle back exhaust for $565 and E.D. Y pipe for $200.

Total $915

I was just thinking about stopping there. Slight gains/mostly for noise.

And possible pick up a used hypertech for like $200ish to remove the throttle restriction/ maybe do there fixed tune if it's safe.

To me this is very minor mods and APR should be safe I would think.

Don't really know why you made a thread asking because it sounds like you already made up your mind.

If you're doing breathing mods, then get your car tuned.

LOL true

I wouldn't mind trying out the hypertech for that little money. I could always sell it later. I wouldn't be expecting anything huge. Just tweaked.

Mostly Interested just in the throttle response
