Berk HFCs and P0420 & P0430 Codes
I just had a set of Berk HFCs installed on my 2013 G37xS sedan and the service engine soon light just came on, after 200 miles or so of driving with them.
I read through the forum and saw a few posts saying to use steel wool in the O2 sensors? If so can someone better explain this?
Thanks

I had the same problem.
Therw a cel with same codes, I had bung extenders welded on, no codes.
Finally had uprev tune, they can set the ecu to ignore thoose codes.
It will pass emmisions is the bright side.
Good luck, try the 02 bung extenders.
I did 2 on each side.

The proper way to fix it is with an Uprev reflash and tune so that you ensure that the AFR's are right and the car is running just right, then if the codes keep coming back you disable them in the tune so that the sensor will still function but does not throw a CEL when it flows so much.
bung extenders are just spacers that you screw into the O2 sensor hole to space it away from the flow of exhaust gas. Sometimes thats enough to keep it from throwing the CEL, but no way to know if the AFR's are within a decent range.
Feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any specific tuning or uprev questions.
