Many people on this forum say that the stock intake is better then aftermarket intakes and to just install some k&n drop in filters. If that is the case, how is it that Stillen and Takeda claim to get 14 and 19hp respectively from their intakes?

With Stillen having their Black Friday sale on intakes today, I'm not sure if I want to go Gen 3 or Gen 2 or just drop in some K&N's.

At the end of the day, what I'm looking to get out of this car is great performance, low 13s in the 1/4. I will probably get a stillen exhaust and HFC.

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
