Why not Megan or CNT Resonated Test Pipes?

Just wondering because they are stupid cheap ($140)/($220) new and they are stainless/resonated.

I've searched and seen maybe two on this forum.

Anybody have experience with these? Much Raspiness?

I know you get what you pay for but for a fraction of the price of some other brands these seem like a great alternative.

I had the CNT resonated test pipes on my 370z and they weren't bad. Fitment was good. Had them paired with the invidia Gemini exhaust. Exhaust was quiet by itself but after I added the test pipes it was loud as hell. Rasp was barely noticeable actually. Overall decent test pipes I would recommend them.

I have Megan test pipes on my fx35 w/ stock exhaust. Good fitment, but with a lil bit of rasp at 3k rpm.

I went with berks mainly because the quality of the pipe... After reading through tons of posts Megan's have been known to crack and leak... In the end you get what you pay for

i installed my test pipes a couple weeks ago and they sounded great. The raspiness wasn't that bad till I put the short ram intake tonight. It's really raspy now and sounds bad. How the new tru dual exhaust helps

Megan RTP = slight rasp at 4-4.5K rpm.
Megan RTP + 2.5"-3" Y-pipe = more rasp at 3.5 - 4.5 krpm
