Help Filters - oil or dry - which way to go?

Filters - oil or dry - which way to go?
I've ordered HPS tubes and now plan to upgrade the filters also. Is there much of a difference between say the K&N oiled filters and the AFE dry filters? If you have a preference which is it and why?
