Custom exhaust thoughts

Hey all,

So I'm thinking of going to my local custom exhaust shop to have them mandrel bend and install a custom exhaust system with high flow cats. I want my car to sound louder with a deeper tone but not too ricey or fart can-ish. I have heard some g37's with custom exhausts and they sound like GT-R's. Does anyone have any experience with having custom exhausts installed on a G? I would love to hear people's opinions.

Test pipe & 2.5" custom piping

https://www.myg37.com/forums/intake-...th-x-pipe.html

here's my set up. I have a fastintention resonated testpipe. So at the moment I still have the stock 4 years old muffler, so it actually has rattle coming from the muffler on cold start but it quits down when it warms up. i was warned by the exhaust shop that I'll get a bit raspy with stock muffler but I don't really mind it I like the raw sound, its almost like a super car sound (almost). lol
But hopefully once I get a different muffler the rattle will go away.
Also I don't think I've never heard of any high performance V6 engine/car especially ours that ever turned out sounding like a "ricey" after any exhaust upgrade.
Anyways I take a video when I get a chance.
