The car is not $45K, unless you live in Canada, which you don't. That's MSRP for a G37xS. Repeating that number perpetuates an inflated sense of value that the dealerships want you to adopt. But you know this, or we assume you do.

Anyway... a short-term lease makes sense if you're wanting to get into the next model and simply can't drive anything else while waiting. So in that respect, I get it. While still not practical, it makes sense for what the heart wants.

On topic to your question, get the short ram, enjoy it and sell it when done. Don't expect any power from it, although your butt-dyno will be vibrating, and that's really all that matters for daily driving.

Sway bars would be an excellent and relatively inexpensive mod, and you could probably leave them on the car when you give it back, if it's too much of a hassle to do otherwise. (Not recommended, but there's value in convenience, and I get that too.)

Nobody knows. Very likely it will be tuned like the IPL, and then get a mid-model refresh with Direct Injection and a dual-clutch AT. But I based that guesswork on nothing what-so-ever.

May just grab a short ram to hear a little noise and get that 2hp that the sedan lost compared to the coupe lol.
Yeah sticker price on my G was $44,660 I believe although I'd never pay sticker on this car as it can be bought well below sticker. I have the G37xS with sport package, nav and premium package.
Well I hope it comes with large bump in horsepower with a decent mpg jump too lol. I hope its more than the IPL tune on the coupe cuz it only has 348 and that doesnt seem to be enough for me as I'm a little greedy lol.

I don't want to detract from the OP but short-term leasing can be a good move in some cases. An example is a person like me who enjoys having at least one new car each year and know that whether I short term lease or buy, no matter what, i'll likely be wanting something new the next year or so. So here I have a car that started at $46000 MSRP and it gets price reduced to around $38000 or so due to rebates. Then you have a lease offer for only $289 per month with 0 down. This should be a $450 to $500 per month lease on a $38000 car but it's not. So there is tremendous discounting. So you have roughly $5200 in rental for 18 mos and at the end of it there is no hassle of trading in or selling the car. If I buy a brand new G37S and sell it in 18 months will I see $5200 in depreciation? Probably will. Add to that I'd have to be trading the car into a dealership or Carmax because I'm not having people to my house every week to look at a car i'm selling and i'm probably much better off with this lease deal. Sorry, back to topic.

To the OP, I agree on the swaybars. Always a huge bang for buck especially if you dont plan on coilovers.

Cheers! Mike

I had the oem endlinks for a while with no issues.

However, aftermarket adjustable links are an improvement

...only if you've lowered your car.

Or so it seems after researching for the general consensus on this site. But that's just my interpretation. Opinions will vary.

Yup. Kinda new since a new model will be out soon. As soon as the new model is out the lease will almost be finished and I will be able to get into the new model or if I dont like it buy out my lease and mod the **** out of the car I have now lol. Also helps since I couldnt buy this car as the payments would be way to high for me and lease payments are much cheaper.
