CAI snafu help please

After an unsuccessful attempt to install the Tekeda CAI I want to give it another try but the problem that ultimately halted the install ,the rubber elbows that connect the main intake pipe to the smaller ones on either side of the single filter in the middle, are now ripped right at the bend and at the clamp location (I spent a good hour or two just wrestling with that part trying to get a hose clamp on the main pipe) so they ripped. Where would I go about getting replacements?? My other option I guess is to just buy some silicon intake tubing and make my own....anybody have this problem and maybe a link to a site that will sell me new hoses? Thanks in advance

Wow I've never heard of anyone ripping the silicone tubing during an install. These guys look promising:

The rubber Tekeda supplied seemed very fragile and it ripped rather easily but the link you provided may just be what I need, thanks!

SIR! That website is AWESOME! I have the takeda installed correctly but I still may order a couple of things off this site, mostly in case I decide to convert to a 2 filter system.

Thanks

Glad I could help! Hope everything turns out ok! Maybe I should check out my tubes to see if it's started to rip too...

Call AFE and have them send you replacements. They are really good about that.
Also, those silicone ones from siliconeintakes.com are what AFE should use.
Looks like I'm gonna pick up a pair for my set up. Thanks OB G
