OP, we really are on the same page...I was just about to ask the same question lol. The FI website says the CF catback is louder than the SS...not sure how much though. I don't have any other CF on my car but I think I'm gonna go with the CF catback bc it won't be as noticeable as the SS mufflers.

Just an add-on question...what's the difference between the standard magnaflow x pipe and the upgraded FI x pipe that comes with the catback? I think there's an option for resonated vs non-resonated as well. Any info is greatly appreciated.

FWIW this is going to be paired with the FI RHFCs

i went with SS because when i asked tony the difference he did admit the carbon fiber is louder and sounds a tad bit more exotic, me being a college student and the fact im more than likely not putting any carbon fiber on the car anywhere he said it probably wouldnt be worth the extra money for me to get the carbon fiber mufflers unless my heart was set on it. i'll be recording again the exhaust this week now that it is finally fully broken in and you can decide from there, but talk to vosseng37, he has had both carbon fiber muffler and SS muffler, old style x-pipe, new style x-pipe 18" and now 12". he'd be able to give personal experience between the difference in them.
Im probably going to order the RHFC and 12" SS CBE this or next week. Cant wait!

**An increased average of 11 RWH & 9 FT LBS of torque over the stock cat back. During recent Dyno testing we have discovered that the "New style X Pipe" is good for an additional 6 RWH & 2 FT LBS of torque over the Gen 1 Maganflow X Pipe.

**The resonators come in 3 options, 18", 12", and non resonated. This allows you to truly control the sound of your CB, and how loud and low toned you want it.

Let me know if you have any other questions, I'd be happy to help set you up with an order
