Well i got my hands on a used Gen3 and obviously didnt come with the hose to cover the AC line so i was wondering would heat wraps do the trick or is there something else i could use. Sorry if this question has been brought up from time to time.

 

You can go to the hardware store and get some heater hose.

 

i just went to the local auto store and picked up the rubber hose, I think it's the vac line? I just used that, cut it down in half and put it over my a/c lines and zip tied it so it doesn't fall off. It's been 4 months and holding up fine.
