Stillen G3 Install Issues

Pretty cut and dry. Got everything installed and before I even pull it out the garage, I see how it revs, and BAM 4500 RPM maximum.

I don't have everything put back together, but I doubt that's the cause, unless having the engine cover causes the car to go into limp mode. Any ideas? Car was working normally prior to the install. Thx.

Check your MAF sensors and make sure all your couplings are tight and not leaking. That's pretty much about it man. If it still acts up idk what else can it be?

Checked the MAF sensors, nothing unusual other than plugging them up. I'm about to check the couplings again and see what that does. No check engine light so far. I'm gonna let it run for about 15 minutes and see what happens.

Well I feel like a tard. Can't rev past 4500 RPM because I didn't take it out of neutral. I put it in 1st and held the clutch in and back to reality.

It has been a long day, but I'm glad they're in now.

lol thanks guys. I am amazed by how much I've gained just by the seat of the pants dyno. It pulls like a **** around 5k RPMs and higher. Very noticable that's for sure.

Next up, 4.08 gears!
