I went down to my infiniti dealer and i was talking to the parts guy and we started talking about some of the stuff i want to do to my IPL when i get some money

We got into a discussion about the exhuast i wanted to buy and I was leaning towards the Ark Grip and he was telling me about a shop down the street that custom makes exhaust systems....

basically catback for 1,000 and about 10 hp2w and he said the sound would be amazing...

The shop he was telling me about was Super Tuning in Van Nuys, CA

 

You'll be taking a risk with that "custom" whatever shop. You never know. And people who work at dealerships are the last ones that know anything about cars, unless it's Beshoff Infiniti. You'd be way better off going with exhausts that many people have here, and that are proven to be good. Stillen, Ark, Fast Intentions, HKS, Invidia, Meisterschaft--you have quite a lot of choices, at least. These exhausts have been tested and retested and have been made by people who know what they're doing, so I would totally recommend going with an actual exhaust instead of some custom, who-knows-what exhaust. It'll be a bit more expensive, but hey, your IPL was a bit more expensive, too, wasn't it? You wouldn't so that it wasn't worth it, though, would ya? Go with quality from the pros. YouTube is your friend for what to choose.

Yea ,. I would also not got custom Exhaust. Go with a brand name at least you know they did RD on it and the system will make power and sound good. The list that solidtude made is very good just add Exoticspeed to that .

YouTube, my friend. It has every exhaust worth buying. If you don't find one you like for the G37, look up the same brand but for the 370Z. You will get more results, and they will look/sound exactly the same on our G's.

 

u got the ipl and u wanna change the exhaust? i thought one of the "major" upgrades was the exhaust on it
