So the next intake I'm not seeing is the r2c. There is a review a few posts down that shows almost no difference between the stillen and r2c but is easier to install. Why not go with those?
i love my r2c but it is loud and i thought the OP said he didn't want noise. the dynos i saw showed the r2c having better midrange gains than the gen3 but with the gen3 having a higher over all gain at the high end
Takeda Cold Air Intake (Long Tube): is very good, but what i discovred today is that it's a bit heavier than the other intakes. It weights 20lbs while the other are less.
Interesting.... AFE list the system at 10 lbs. In comparison, I would think the weight to be on par with stillen as the systems are similar.

My post. Cool! To OP... If you're mechanically inclined (and patient), I'd get the Stillen Gen 3 system. If you want an easier installation, the best short ram is definitely the R2c... just the filters alone are worth it. No oiling, best filtration in the industry (their parent company makes filters for the military). In that respect, they are tops. I am sure if I had a custom UpRev tune with either intake, results would be a lot closer, but I don't have the time or resources for that right now. So, I ended up with the Stillen Gen 3. I've been very happy with it for more than 10,000 miles.
