Xpipe?

So I was on g35driver and found a interesting post about a guy installing a xpipe to his stock exhaust..... If interested here is the link read on....

Got something done today... - G35Driver

Ps if anyone has done this share your comments seems interesting.... I will probably be doing this in the next week or two!

saw this as well but as I said in the other post, take a close look at your y pipe. There is a portion which pinches and contricts to a MUCH smaller diameter than even the stock exhaust piping... You will def change sound and add a tiny bit of power, but changing the cats and y pipe would increase the flow more than anything else imho.

eat I want to get the cats as well but I contacted the vendor that does the resonated ones on the price and he hasnt responded anyone know how much they go for?

best price i found was about $62 for the xpipe not bad!

Well changing the y pipe is a bit different from this x pipe setup. I heard from a couple of friends that the y pipe didnt really make any noticable power difference.

Check with some exhaust shops around you. The place I went to in town had them for $30. They were stamped from Magnaflow too.

I've heard the same thing about changing y pipes out. Thats why i did the x pipe. Power wise you can feel some change but its not monumental. Seems like most aftermarket exhaust for our cars either have x/h pipes.
