Ark grip vs gemini invidia

Ok, so I love the sound of the Tanabe Touring Muffler, but its like $800. So I read and call some shops, and was pushing to the gemini invidia. Most places suggested to get the ARK GRIP. I like the sound of tanabe though. Its not 2 loud, no rasp, mature sounding. Is ARK GRIP loud, raspy, or just right? And I cant a video with just invidia gemini exhaust with no other mods in the car. What to get?

I can honestly say the invidia is the sweetest sounding exhaust on the G37, IF, you don't want crazy loud.... it's perfect

Edit: If you have an IPL then you really should go Ark to hide that funky rear end

agree^^^ invidia is the best sounding because its the quietest catback and if you pair it up with HFC or test pipes it wont be annoyingly loud like other catbacks with HFC or TP's

I've heard all in person, ark is very classy and actually pretty quiet. Invidia sounds like a
Louder stock system. And tanabe is pretty quiet too, personally I like ark or fast intentions

I have invidia with test pipe it's pretty damn loud almost to the point that I'm going insane.

It all sounds very subjective. I heard FI in person and it sounds great. I'm personally will be going with ARK though.

This is great help! I think im going to go for the ARK. Seems to sound aggresive, but not too loud, no rasp. Mature sounding. no drone. I wasnt able to find too videos with plain stock g37S with just invidia gemini, but found a lot of sound clips of the ARK. I live in Jersey, oh boy. I got Eibach Pro, I wonder how, or what will be the lowest pointing touch of the exhaust to the ground? How much horsepower gain does ARK have?

I have the ARK grip for my sedan, its pretty loud in lower RPM's (louder than I thought it would be). If I had the coupe I'd probably stay with it but since I have the sedan and 7AT Im thinking Ill swap to the Tanabe with Y pipe. Does anyone know how much more quiet the tanabe is vs ARK

Are you looking for an axle back or a cat back exhaust (CBE) system?

If you are considering a CBE you might consider HKS since you are considering ARK (depending on your budget -- since HKS is a bit pricey).

I have a thread on here with a mini-review: https://www.myg37.com/forums/intake-...-hi-power.html

Happy modding, in any event.

I loved my gemini with stock cats, hfc, and now with test pipe. That being said, I will be switching up to HKS in the forseeable future.
