HKS Hi Power!

I am not a big fan of teasers, but now that I received the goods I understand the temptation -- and could not resist.

More to come...

Send us some detailed pics of the exhaust itself while it's not installed! The welds, piping, quality, etc. That would make this a very helpful thread for whoever is interested in HKS. Do it, do it, do it!

O.K., I'll try to remember to take picks when unpacking.

Don't get in a hurry...not sure how soon I'll be dragging the box home and installing the system. This will be a weekend project (probably not this weekend though).

I snuck a peek at the parts (wanted to make sure no obvious shipping damage) and everything looked good so far -- especially the "burnt" titanium tips; sweet!

woohoo bro
i just bought this exhaust ( after saving up 2400 after 5 months lmao)
AMAZING SOUND
nothing can replicate how perfect HKS got it
NOT too loud and ricey yet has a fantastic deep rumbly tone that maintains the VQHR37s sound. It also gets quite a few stares when you drive by
Oh not to mention it looks absolutely deadly under the car, like some alien technology or something,
enjoy bro
well done on choosing a true JDM product that will cease to amaze you,
No i dont work for HKS i just love the HI Power, hated it on my last car ( RX8) love it on the G

I'm curious about this exhaust. Don't have a lot of info or sound clips of this. Want to see how the sound compares to Ark. I'm sure everyone on the forum would appreciate a detailed review and sound clips of your HKS. So Ark is a copy of this HKS, is that correct?

Yes. You can also look for soundclips from a 370z for exhausts because they sound identical.

Have heard both exhaust in person. I personally have the HKS. Ark is definitely louder. And definitely deeper. And therefore I could say it sounds more aggressive. It is also definitely a lot cheaper than HKS.

BUT when you look at Ark directly from behind, you can see one of the canister (I think left side), hangs 1-1.5inches lower than the other side. It does not look even. Don't believe? Go research for Ark installed pics on the forum. And yeah, it is a "copy" of HKS.

Congrats man...I've had my Hi Power for 3 years now and it sounds amazing from the first day I got it installed! However, I do notice that it has gotten a little deeper in tone over the years after it gets broken in from all the carbon build up! Enjoy!
